The 2017 Young Achievers Awards were held Saturday night at Kampala Serena Hotel, in a pompous and auspicious gala dominated by the young folk.

The 5th edition of the Awards which coincided with the International Youth Day was a blend of colour, fashion, culture, music and excellence, intertwined with a perfect choice of hosts and acts.
The red carpet opened as early as 6pm outside the Serena Conference Centre as guests and nominees began to trickle in, dressed to impress.
