Akram Gumisiriza Draws Inspiration From Balaam, Dreams Of Presidency

Socialite wannabe Akram Gumisiriza has expressed his desire to become the President of Uganda one day. He’s drawing inspiration from the newly appointed minister, Hon Balaam Barugahara.

Speaking about this, Akram said if a ‘useful idiot’ can become a minister, who is he. It should be recalled that the term useful idiot was used by MP, Hon Betty Nambooze to demean Balaam a few years back.

Apparently, the famous events promoter was a few weeks back appointed the State Minister. In an unforeseen move by many, Balaam has been described as an inspiration.

According to Akram, he thinks he can write the same fairy tale for himself but with even a bigger ambition. Additionally, he said that this is not one as most people might want to take it.

“I have a dream that one day I can be the President of Uganda. If a useful idiot can become a minister, why not me. And people shouldn’t think that this is a joke,” he saidp during the birthday of his wife, Hajjat Kulthum Nabunya, late Sheikh Muzaata’s wife.

Unlike Balaam who had always been in the news and had a track record socially, politically and economically, nothing much is known about Akram.

All there is is that he’s the man who married the late Sheikh Muzaata’s wife. His businesses, mode of life and history are all undocumented. Ever since he got into the limelight, he’s shown an unwavering hunger for news. He’s been involved in a couple of controversies.
