All UMA Contestants Are Selfish – Karole Kasita Vows Not To Participate In Elections

Female dancehall singer Karole Kasita has come out to reveal that she won’t take part in the upcoming Uganda Musicians Association general elections.

According to Karole, all the participants are selfish and greedy. These are only after individualistic goals.

She will therefore only start participating in the Association’s activities once its streamlined to address the needs of the industry.

“I will not vote or take part in the affairs of the association until they are ready to help the industry. Most of them are looking for money from the government, they don’t care about us,” she said while appearing in an interview with Galaxy FM.

Karole Kasita’s comments might well not be taken in good faith by her good friend and role model, Cindy Sanyu.

Cindy who is one of the contestants is a very good friend of the Balance singer and the two even have a collaboration together.

Karole has overtime revealed that she looked up to Cindy and it was that she always tried to emulate.

It’s therefore a surprise that she doesn’t believe in the former Blu 3 singer’s leadership capabilities.

Cindy will be facing off with King Saha who is likely to pose stiff competition to her current position. The Biri Biri singer has received enormous endorsement from different big dogs in the music industry.

Most artists believe Cindy has not done enough to elevate their welfare through the association. Whereas some believe that she’s tried her level best.

They think its time to hand the mantle to someone else to steer them forward. They therefore believe that King Saha is the right man.
