Speaker Anita Among Says That 200 Cows From The President Multiplied To 2000, Netizens Left In Disbelief

Netizens have been left in disbelief and doubts after the Speaker of Parliament Anita Among took to social media and reported the 200 cows she got as a gift from President Museveni multiplied to 2000 cows.

The speaker said that she visited the President some time back. Apparently, Mr. Museveni gifted her 200 cows. She was glad to report to the President that these gifts had succeeded. She had looked after them well and they multiplied hugely.

The Speaker said that it’s important for a leader to act exemplary to the public and show them how they can engage in the money economy.

“A few years ago, when I visited H.E. @KagutaMuseveni, he gifted me 200 cows. I was happy to report to him that the flock has since grown to over 2000. It is important for leaders to set an example and show the community ways to participate in the money economy,” she said whilst she and the President were overlooking part of this flock at her farm in Bukedea.

However, almost everyone who took to this update seemed perplexed. The majority didn’t believe it. One of the comments read “from 200 to 2000?? That’s an 1800% increase, you must be a great cattlekeeper.”

“First it was 100 cows, now 200 cows about 3 years ago… How did this happen that now you have 2000… Did they all reproduce after just two years though I believe in miracles or you decided to buy more? Curious to know,” said another.

It should be noted that Mr. Museveni was in Bukedea over the weekend. He attended as the guest of honor at the opening of the East Africa Secondary School Games where he commended the Speaker for the great work done in the region.
