Are Bars Really Closed As The Presidential Directives Demanded?

It’s been nine months since the closure of bars due to Covid 19. However, after a long period of bar owners pleading for the government to open bars with no results, we are wondering if bars are really locked.

After a lot of investigations, results have showed that people do party especially celebrities and that is why they are probably quiet about opening bars.

When the president started easing the lockdown and opened some places, bar owners called for a press conference. They assured the president that they were ready to open bars and still follow the necessary SOPs as required by the health sector. Unfortunately after all this, there were no positive results registered.

Over the weekend, the police carried out and operation on bars and to their surprise most of them were filled to the brim. As if this wasn’t enough, celebrities especially musicians were in big numbers. Dr. Hilderman, Queen Florence, Bad Black, Sheila Gashumba among others. Of course there were also so many lay people who the police arrested.

What does this mean? This simply means people are not afraid anymore about Covid and what it could do. Even in the footage, no one was wearing a mask in these bars. Is the police really innocent? Didn’t they know about these drinking places being opened already?

One thing for sure is that some authorities must have had some knowledge about this for it to happen.
