During the Covid period though, artists were expressing a lot of interest in what goes on in their association. Currently, you can hardly find an artist even posting about UMA because they are making money. Looking at the contestants of the big positions and how they were answering questions in the recently finished debate, they may not be the best candidates.
However, the “I don’t care” attitude from the artists is going to land mediocrity in decision-making positions. It’s because of poor leadership that Chameleone created another organization.
How different is it going to be this time? The deserving people or fit musicians for positions seem to have grown tired of the UMA talk and less walk.
Meanwhile, radio Presenter Kasuku simply thinks musicians don’t know how important it is for them to participate in these elections. According to him, the money artists are making right now is blinding them from thinking for their music future. UMA elections have mostly been embraced by upcoming artists who may not fully understand the gravity of this organization. It’s only a few big artists who are concerned which may help but a little.
