Apparently, Winnie Kiiza and Bihande her husband made these announcements on Friday and yesterday lately, lamenting that a bunch of soldiers who were armed with short guns and machine guns. These soldiers caused fear onto them.

“On Friday night two armed men spent the night in my compound in Kasese, waiting for my husband to come home and they shoot him. Some friend of ours tipped us and he did not go home that Friday night posted. As I am posting this message, again, nine armed men in military uniform have surrounded our house again in Kiburara Kasese. All of them armed to the teeth with machine guns and rpgs,” Winnie Kizza added.

Through sources from NBS TV, the Army spokes commander, Brig Richard Karemire changed the statement implying that there wasn’t any soldier around their home.

“Yesterday (Sunday) evening when he made similar allegations, both UPDF and UPF squads reached his home in a very short time, but the home was locked and his manager confirmed to the team that Yokasi Bihande left earlier for Kampala. So Mr Bihande actually posted falsehoods when he was not at his home,” Karemire said.

Police responded back to Winnie Kizza.

Uganda Police started investigations about her husband, Bihande though they haven’t come out with a clear statement.

“Police headquarters asked Mr. Yokasi to speak to them, but he decided to turn with no response. And later while talking to the their neighbors, they insisted that no armed force was around their home.” He added.
