Arua Hill Hosts Gaddafi As Both Teams Seek First Season Win

Arua Hill SC and Gaddafi FC have had a very bad start to the 2023/24 Uganda Premier League season. After three games into the campaign, both teams have failed to register a win. However, they will both look to end their winning drought as they are set to meet today.

Arua Hill has been on the losing side against Busoga United, Vipers SC and recently BUL FC, registering losses on all three.

Similarly, Gaddafi FC have also failed to scoop even a single point after losing all three of the opening matches. The team lost to Vipers SC, URA FC and their last beating came from Kitara FC.

Despite the losses, Gaddafi head coach David Mutono says the international break gave them time to rectify their mistakes.

“We know what our challenges have been and we have tried to rectify them during the international break,” he told the press.

He further said they had no luck in the previous games but hope to hit the ground moving forward, starting with today’s game.

In their last four meetings, Gaddafi has had two victories as Arua Hill picked one, the other resulting in a stalemate.
