AYA Group Donates Maize Flour Worth Shs16 Million

In a move aimed to improve corporate image, Aya group through subsidiary firm Pan Afric Commodities has donated 640kgs of maize flour worth 16 million to government.

Handing over the items Aya group / Pan Afric accountant Denis Eyoko said the donation will help government supply food to the most vulnerable group during this Corona virus pandemic lock down.

“Covid has affected the entire economic growth however as front line health workers doing what they can to curb Corona virus pandemic spread this food donation will support their families and other  vulnerable group of the community who are on dire need of food during the lock down,”Eyoko said.

He emphasized that the donation is part of the company corporate social responsibility programme to reach to the vulnerable group during this Corona virus pandemic.

All the donations to government is being handled by national covid task force manned by office of the prime minister. So far the private sector has contributed items both cash to the tune of 7 billion.
