Azawi Reveals Reasons Why She Prefers Working With Men To Women

Swangz Avenue Singer and song writer Zawedde Priscilla also known as Azawi has revealed reasons why she prefers working with men to women. The singer who has been in the music industry for almost five years has had more projects than some of the musicians who have been in the industry for even 10 years.

In her projects, Azawi has managed to release two albums. Most of the songs on those albums are collaborations with male musicians.

There are a few songs with some female artistes and she has explanation why she has decided to work that way.

According to her, males are easier to work with. She said they are less complicated and always want to challenge themselves that means they give a song all they have.

This is unlike females. Many complain about their time management and less creativity while in studio.

“It’s not like I only want to work with male artists; it just happens. For me, I feel like male artists are easy to work with. They are less complicated and always want to challenge themselves and give their all,” she said.

It should be noted that women working with women has always been hard in Swangz Avenue itself.

When Irene Ntale was signed on to the record label, she had issues with Vinka who was her manager and also joined the singing. Up to now, they don’t see eye to eye.
