Talented RnB singer Aziz Azion has come out to fault some media houses for the failure of some artists. The Nkumila Omukwano singer said that some media houses have fed their viewers the narrative that some singers have faded.
He adds that this tag has really hurt their careers so much at times beyond revival.
The singer who doubles as a guitarist said that he’s one of those who have been labeled faded and has no new thing to offer.
“Some media personalities have created a bad public image for some of us. You can’t say I am faded and I can no longer do good music. That’s why many of us are struggling to put an end to such talk,” the singer said.
Aziz is one of the veterans in the music industry and his talent is undoubted. He has a rich catalog of monster hits and at one time was considered the king of RnB in Uganda.
However, he somehow diminished from the charts and many attributed this to his change of genre.
Aziz at one time shifted from his style to a new one known as bax ragga and although it gave him a few hit songs, it quickly faded too.
The singer further said that some media platforms are unprofessional and only play artists who pay them. Another singer who came out to issue such a feeling is Ziza Bafana.
The dancehall singer said that some media houses labeled him faded because he stopped doing interviews with them.
