Bad Black’s Ex Boyfriend Meddie Ssentongo Resorts To Haircut Business For Survival

The faded socialite Meddie Ssentongo was among the big spenders and the king of showbiz eight years ago. He and former girlfriend Shanitah Namuyimbwa popularly known as Bad Black used to splash money in Kampala’s top hangouts.

Unfortunately, Meddie Ssentongo was sent to Luzira prison for secretly cooperating with Bad Black to steal a huge among of money worth Shs11 billion from Shanitah’s then British boyfriend David Greenhalgh.

He was charged with conspiracy to defraud more than Shs11 billion belonging to Daveshan Development Company Limited owned by David Greenhalgh a majority shareholder ( with 75% shares). DDCL is a Ugandan registered company dealing in land purchasing, property development and management.

After being declared guilty, Ssentongo’s major assets were seized and money was withdrawn from his accounts. After being released from prison, he traveled to South Africa to start a new life but it seems his expectations were not fulfilled. He decided to return home and resorted to simple life.

Latest news that reached our desk this morning reveals that Meddie Ssentongo now owns a salon at Quality Shopping Village in Lubowa. He works as a senior barber in his salon and that is the kind of job he used to do before.

In other news previously published by NEWSLEXPOINT.com, The legendary Kadongo Kamu musician Willy Mukabya was starving during the pandemic lockdown.

During his interview with Cavton music, a known journalist, Mukabya urged that instead of waiting for the lock down to end and wait for the Government to help him, he rather help himself by engaging in Boda business.
