Banjo Man Reveals Why He Quit Doing Music

Faded singer Banjo Man, a younger brother to Bobi Wine has revealed reasons why he decided to quit doing music for good. He said by the time he joined music, he was very dedicated and he invested so much in it but gained nothing in return.

The singer is one of the Ssentamu brothers who have a talent for singing. However, it is so many years since he released any new music unlike his younger brothers Mikie Wine and Dax Vibes.

According to him, he is more into making money than just becoming a celebrity and impressing other people.

He said he put so much into the music he did but didn’t get anything out of it. Not even the money he put in, he didn’t get it back.

The former musician said his businesses are now paying off and he doesn’t regret leaving the industry to focus on himself.

Banjo Man revealed that everyone would want to have money and music didn’t make money for him. This made him decide to leave it and focus on things that make his pockets happy.

“Everyone who has been in Uganda’s music industry knows so well that it doesn’t bring in any money. I did music but after realising I was not getting what I wanted from it, I decided to quit. I focused on my businesses and they are now giving me what I want,” he said.
