Barrack Obama Ordered 300 US Troops To Cameroon To Help Fight Against Boko Haram

On Wednesday 14th October, the American president Barrack Obama announced that he ordered 300 American troops to Cameroon to work together with West African soldiers in preparations to help fight the Nigerian Islamic extremist group Boko Haram.

The American troops will be armed for self defence but they will not engage in fighting, they will only provide surveillance, reconnaissance and intelligence operations in that area, said White House Press Secretary, Josh Earnest.

Barrack Obama briefed the troops first!

However, the White House released a letter and said 90 millitary troops have been deployed in advance to Cameroon which borders Nigeria.

Atleast nine people where killed, and 29 injured in a bomb blast in northern Cameroon on Sunday, two female suicide bombers made an attack in the Kangaleri village, one of those women detonated a bomb in a small milk and donut restaurant and the other bomber killed herself.

Nigeria’s islamic extremists, Boko Haram are a big threat to Nigerians themselves aswell as its neighbours, this group has killed alot of innocent people especially in Nigeria and just of recent they abducted a big number of school girls.
