Bebe Cool And Eddy Kenzo Are Not Fit To Lead Musicians – Eastern Ugandan Artists Trash UNMF

A section of musicians in Eastern Ugandan don’t agree with Eddy Kenzo and Bebe Cool being executive leaders of the newly formed musicians federation.

A big section of musicians a few weeks ago announced that the Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF) had been formed. One of its primary goals is to unite Ugandan musicians.

It should be noted that Kenzo was unveiled as the inaugural president. Bebe Cool on the other hand was named as the Finance Minister. According to these musicians, they don’t think Kenzo is fit to lead the Federation.

This is because he can neither read nor write according to their narrative. Bebe Cool on the other hand is the biggest problem in the music industry. This is because he always has negative things to say about other musicians in the country.

Further, these musicians went ahead to say that the same musicians in UNMF leadership are the ones who disintegrated UMA. They kept on moving from it to Salim Saleh because of money.

“We don’t want Kenzo as the president because he doesn’t have the qualifications. I bet he knows how even a federation is formed. In fact we have one million shillings, if he comes out and writes Uganda National Musicians Federation in full and its objectives and how it is formed.”

“For Bebe Cool, he has always been negative about the music industry in Uganda. He is always creating wars and dissing other musicians’ songs. He has even taken about 3 years without releasing a song. We think he should excuse himself from things to do with Ugandan music.”

However, as they say, curses from a hen can’t kill the hawk, we await to see how far this federation goes. On the record meanwhile, more influential singers are joining the Federation.

It seems like for the first time, musicians in Uganda are joining hands firmly for a common cause. With each day passing by, more established musicians are joining UNMF as they believe in it.
