Indeed besides the competitions that take place within Uganda, this time around, these were World competitions. Bebe Cool is well-known for appreciating successful people and therefore, he expressed his gratitude towards her via social media.

Sincerely on record, this is the first time for Uganda to make such a historical phenomenal to the World level. Since the pearl of Africa is blessed with intelligent ladies, Quiin Abenakyo worked so hard to fit among the top 30 finalists.

“I would love to congratulate Miss Uganda Quiin Abenakyo for making it to the top 30 finalists for Miss World 2018, a first for Uganda in the entire history of Miss World. Thank you for joining some of us in efforts to show the world that Uganda is full of beauty, talent and brains among others. I applaud you for the attention you are giving to the plight of young girls suffering with early pregnancies. This is true demonstration that each one of us as Ugandans has it within their power to contribute to the wellbeing of our country using the means available to them. My contribution is through music and yours is through beauty with a purpose. Instead of criticizing government for the things that are not going well within our communities, can we all in our respective disciplines ask what we can do for our motherland Uganda. Can we account for our contribution to our country before pointing fingers at who hasn’t done what for us. Miss Quinn Abenakyo, we are looking forward to your crowning as Miss World at the finale by God’s grace. I too am playing my part, but then again, I AM BEBE COOL. To pick a direct quote from former American President John F Kennedy’s inaugural address in 1961, ” Ask not what your country will do for you, but what you can do for your country”. #TONDEKA_EKIWATULE_MUTIMA_GWA_ZABU 26th Dec boxing day”
