Bebe Cool Explains Why He Contributed Only 1 Million Towards Evelyn Lagu’s Kidney Transplant Treatment

As the saying goes that health is wealth, a number of celebrities especially from the entertainment industry led by Bebe Cool gathered in Nansana over the weekend for a car wash fundraising drive initiated to help Evelyn Lagu get proper kidney transplant treatment.

Evelyn Lagu who is also called Evelyn Love is battling with kidney failure and seeks financial support to raise at least 250 million Ugandan Shillings to go for kidney transplant in India.

She has however been hospitalized on several occasions battling heart-related and kidney complications. The doctors suggested that she should undergo a kidney transplant.

The legendary singer and Gagamel boss Bebe Cool whose real names Moses Ssali honestly contributed Shs1 million. He explained that he would have donated 5 million and above if the music industry was fully operational.

“You know me, I’m a giver. I would have given her more but we are not working. I am still broke as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic that crippled the music industry,” he said.

In similar news by NEWSLEXPOINT.com, ex-husband to Evelyn Lagu, Mr Lagu spoke out that his son won’t donate his kidney. These two had a son in their marriage but apparently, the father wasn’t that caring about both of them.

Just recently, Evelyn told her ex that they actually had a son together. Unfortunately, Mr Lagu bent on refusing the son from donating his kidney to the mum.

In the midst of this, however, they hadn’t found a suitable donor until her son came. All tests were made on him and the doctors found that the two were a perfect match so he can donate.
