Bebe Cool Hails Katikkiro Mayiga On Steps To Work With Government

Musician Bebe Cool has come out to hail the Katikkiro Charles Peter Mayiga over his steps to work with the central government for the betterment of Buganda Kingdom.

While speaking in an interview on Bukedde TV, Bebe Cool said that he always wondered why the Kingdom detested him.

However, he had an idea on why he was allegedly loathed. And this is his support for President Museveni and the government.

Nonetheless the Gagamel boss couldn’t see why the Kingdom wasn’t seeing that he had gone to lobby for the youths in the Kingdom.

Besides, he also always wondered why the Katikkiro couldn’t work hand in hand with the central government to lobby for his Kingdom.

The Kasepiki singer however hailed Katikkiro Mayiga for his latest softened stance towards working with the central government. This is after Mayiga graced the recent trade hub by the central government in Masaka. Apparently, this had President Museveni in attendance.

“I always wondered why the Kingdom hated me and I discovered it’s because of my ties to the central government. But I didn’t understand why they couldn’t see that I was lobbying for our youths. I was also disappointed that the Katikkiro wasn’t working hand in hand with the central government to avail opportunities for our people. However, I was pleased to see him grace the hub in Masaka recently organized by the central government,” said Bebe Cool.

Mayiga’s move really impressed the singer and he said that he had excused Katikkiro over his harsh remarks made in the wake of social media blogger, Isma Olaxess’ fatal shooting.

Bebe Cool retaliated strongly to these remarks. However, he said that he’s sorry for his remarks.
