Bebe Cool Refers To Bobi Wine As Faded Artist

Gagamel boss Bebe Cool real name Moses Saali has referred to singer-turned-politician Bobi Wine as a faded artist. He said Bobi Wine hasn’t released a song in many years and he can’t be considered as a big artist at the moment. Bobi Wine, Bebe Cool and Jose Chameleone were at one point the most competitive musicians 20 years ago. Most of the young artists were inspired by them.

In 2017, Bobi Wine decided to join politics as a Member of Parliament (MP) and later formed his own political party National Unity Platform (NUP). In the 2021 general elections, he contested as the President of Uganda under his own political party NUP.

With all this going on, he has not given music his time like he used to. Bebe Cool, however, has come out to claim that his nemesis is no longer singing. He said this while ignoring the fact that he too is actually quite faded. Bebe has not released any hit songs in five years.

Every end of the year, Bebe releases a list of his favorite artists of the year. This list also mentions where they had gone wrong in their music careers.

In a recent interview, he was asked if he is considering Bobi Wine in his list. He said that the singer/politician is not a musician at the moment. He revealed that he hasn’t listened to any of his songs in a while so people shouldn’t expect him to be on his list.

“I don’t know why people keep asking me about Bobi Wine being on my list yet he is a faded artist. I haven’t listened to any of his songs in a while. Also, I think he even left the music industry,” he said.
