Bebe Cool Replies To President Museveni About Youths Obsession With European Football Leagues

Singer Bebe Cool has taken to social media to write a statement in response to President Museveni’s remarks about the country’s youth being obsessed with European football leagues.

The President made these remarks yesterday while at Namugongo Martyrs Shrine.

The President partly said that the youths are so obsessed with these football leagues. They do not know what’s happening in their countries on a number of different levels.

In response, the Gagamel boss said that the Ministry of Education and the sports fraternity were merged under the guidance of the President.

The singer said that this was done because he thinks the President had seen and predicted the future and the potential of sports to improve and elevate the standard of living of Ugandans together with education.

Bebe Cool added that he believes that this “global phenomenon has numerous benefits for our nation. This is particularly for young Bazzukulu highlighting the importance of watching European leagues, their impact on our youth, economic growth, and the potential for employment in the sports industry.

Furthermore, the singer pointed out some of these leagues’ benefits to these youths.

According to the Kasepiki singer, these games have an impact on the mentality and mindset of these youths.

Watching their idols such as Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo helps them boost their dedication, hard work, and passion. By observing their techniques, strategies, and teamwork, the young players can improve their skills and develop a winning mentality.

Additionally, he said that European leagues are a significant economic driver. They generate billions of dollars in revenue from broadcasting rights, sponsorships, merchandise, and tourism. By following these leagues, Uganda can learn from their successful models.

They would adapt them to their own sports industry, creating new opportunities for economic growth and job creation.
