Alpha Thierry Ssali was among the seven young talented football players who missed Senior four final exams while on the continental duty of the U-17 and U-20 national teams.
Upon return, his dad Bebe Cool requested the Ministry of Education to organize special exams for all the seven students who missed final exams whilst on International duty. This will also help their parents to avoid wasting time and of course paying extra year fees.
He called upon the Education Minister to review the issue urgently by calling the parents of the affected children to find a way to get them convinced. In case this happens again, there will definitely be a sort of programme to support national team players so that they won’t lose out on education.
Ministry of Education has however been reluctant to respond to Bebe Cool’s requests.
This has forced the ‘Wire Wire’ Hit maker to threaten to walk naked in public if the ministry fails to respond accordingly.
Bebe Cool made the comments during his appearance on the recent sports program on one of the local FM stations.
In separate news previously published by NEWSLEXPOINT.com, the National Unity Platform boss and flag-bearer Hon. Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu alias Bobi Wine said he received intel that someone might attempt to kidnap his children.
He recently escorted them to Entebbe International Airport where they were seen off to the United States with their uncle and auntie.
Hon. Kyagulanyi was silent on the reason why he sent them away towards the presidential elections.
