Benti Boys Reveal How Ykee Benda Mistreated Them

Music duo, Benti Boys have revealed they faced a horrible time while working with singer, Ykee Benda. The Wanawankya singers on a local radio station were asked about their time in the music industry and if they have faced some difficulties.

They said working with Ykee Benda was a very hard time for them. The duo said that they grew up covering the Mpaka Records boss’ songs.

Besides, they are good family friends as their brother is the best friend to the Farma singer. However, their experience with him damaged their relationship since the singer had been tough on them.

They recalled one incident where they were backstage with him and they were announced to perform after him. He saw this as disrespect since they had previously been covering his songs.

He couldn’t fathom how he would step on stage before them. The singers however said that they can’t blame him and perfectly understand where his problems were arising from.

“Our time in the music industry hasn’t been that easy despite the success. Some of the singers who have been working hard with us is Ykee Benda. He was our good family friend and a best friend to our older brother. Besides, we used to cover his songs before fame but our encounters with him were not good. However, we don’t blame him and clearly understand that it was the fame which was messing with his head. Otherwise, he’s a nice person.”
