Kyagulanyi said that not so many artists have been able to stand up to the regime.
“Not so many artists in Uganda have the guts to speak truth to power especially if it puts their comfort at risk. Well, A Pass is no ordinary artist. It is for this reason that the country celebrates you.
Thank you for consistently standing with the oppressed Ugandans. Happy birthday comrade GOAT. I am proud to call you a friend,” Kyagulanyi posted alongside a photo of him and the Dididada singer.
A Pass has surely shown that politically, he sides with Kyagulanyi.
The singer was one of those who joined Kyagulanyi on the streets of Kampala to protest against the OTT tax which the government introduced in 2018.
He has on numerous occasions been seen in the company of the NUP principal. A Pass has also through his different social media pages talked about the injustices meted out on people by government agencies.
He also has a number of revolutionary songs to aid the political struggle of NUP.
