The self proclaimed ghetto president gave a detailed revelation of where he and Bobi Wine came from to what made them part ways.
The singer said that they started Fire Base together with Bebe Cool to attack Jose Chameleone who was their arch enemy then.
Chameleone had formed the Fire Brigade before naming it Leone Island Crew. This was to also counter Bobi Wine and Bebe Cool’s camp.
Bebe Cool however left the crew after getting disagreements over money issues. Buchaman said that the Bebe connived with Chameleone and duped the Firebase crew after a performance.
Buchaman also said that he was the mastermind behind all Fire Base’s tactics for survival and development.
He went ahead to say that as a crew they decided to front Bobi Wine and propel his career first.
This was because a win for him would mean a win for the entire group.
Buchaman also said that he was responsible for the induction of the likes of Nubian Li, Sizzaman, Phantom Lovins etc into the crew.
The “Lwaki Temumatira” singer went ahead to say that he’s not surprised that Bobi Wine joined politics and even ran for the presidency.
However according to him, Bobi Wine had to first run for mayor and then go for the president’s office.
He added that a delay in the plans made him seek a new life.
“We had a game plan where Bobi Wine had to first run for the mayoral office and then go for the presidency. I wasn’t surprised by all this because I have the game plan. However a delay in effecting the plans and my desire to seek a new life forced me to quit the crew. Besides we reached a point where his support towards me declined which I can’t blame him for.”
Buchaman also said that he has now spent close to 15 years without being in touch with his former boss.
He however said that he’s waiting for a day when Bobi Wine will come out and reward him for his hard work.
When they asked what they were doing as fire base members when Bobi Wine was accumulating his wealth, the singer said that all those are effects of the struggle, some make it and some are sacrifices.
He also went ahead to say that he doesn’t regret anything about being in Fire Base. Bucha Man said that Fire base taught him a lot such as survival for the fittest.
