Bobi Wine Goes Back To His Roots, He Campaigns In Gomba His Home District

Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine today has been scheduled to campaign from Gomba his home district. According to him, that is the place where he always spends his 24th December of each year. This year shouldn’t be any different.

However, this time round he is not just there to spend a good time with his family and friends, but to also campaign for a presidential seat come 2021.

Unfortunately, as the case is usually, even this time round it’s not so easy for him to carry out his campaigns. There were heavy trucks of police blocking his way but this didn’t even for a moment stop him from expressing his joy for being in Gomba. Fortunate for him, his supporters, always have his back.

When the police blocked his way, they started singing and chanting his songs.

When he got the chance to speak, he clearly noted that unlike Museveni, he is a real child of Gomba because he was born and raised there. He requested them to remember him come 14th January 2021.

“Abaana be Gomba nze omwana wamwe wano ndi wakka ndi mwana nzalwa yawano ewa Muzeyi Ssentamu. Nebwebatukuba amasasi batuzika wano. Empewo zekika mpulila nga zinfuwako, baganda bange mundabilanga ddala,” He said in Luganda

The 2021 elections are just getting closer and all tactics are out so long as they are legal and can earn the hearts of voters. Museveni has not been doing bad in the areas of Gomba when it comes to support.

We shall see how that will go. This time round, the son of the land is part of the race.
