It should be recalled that a viral clip of the Nabbanja surfaced on social media earlier this week.
This showed the Prime Minister fall short of words in her explanation about the fuel crisis as the English language suddenly became a problem. She then almost fell off the chair as she swung backwards to lean.
This clip had different people talking saying it was unserious for a person like Nabbanja to behave in such a way.
UBC TV allegedly suspended the journalist for circulating this clip since he was the one who shared it.
This decision however, did not please Bobi Wine. He questioned whether the regime expects journalists to cover up for its incompetence.
He went ahead to advise all those in the struggle to work hard for liberation.
“UBC journalist suspended for ’embarrassing’ Mrs. Nabbanja! How worse can it get? So journalists are expected to cover up for regime incompetence, and spew out lies and propaganda against those opposed to Museveni! No heroes in a sinking boat- ALL of us must work for liberation!,” Bobi Wine tweeted
However not everyone was in support of this video. Some argued that since it wasn’t a live broadcast, the journalist could have cut it out.
It was therefore not proper of him to air such content and he therefore knew what awaited him. Ugandans have however already done all sorts of challenges in it to spice it up.
