Bobi Wine Is The Perfect Picture Of Our Hopes And Fears – Fik Fameica

Local singer Shafik Walukaaga alias Fik Fameica was one of those people who used their internet spaces to advocate for Bobi Wine’s release yesterday. Taking to his X page, the rapper said that Bobi Wine is the perfect picture of their hopes and fears.

This followed a question from an X user who questioned whether the NUP leader is the best candidate to spearhead Uganda’s transition.

According to this X user, change is truly needed but she doesn’t think Bobi Wine is the right person to engineer it. Several NUP social media keyboard warriors took to this tweet and smeared her with insults and different kinds of abuses.

Fik also took to the post and said that change will happen no matter what. He also believes the former Kyadondo East MP is the man to spearhead it.

He said those who have doubts about him can therefore continue to do so. However, at the same time it’s not about them individually but Uganda as a whole.

“Truth is, we all want change but are you sure Bobiwine is the change we need??,” X user asked to which Fik Fameica replied “For us, he is our perfect picture of hopes and fears. And the same time it isn’t about you Linda and it’s gonna happen with or without #FreeBobiWine.”

It should be noted that the self-styled ghetto gladiator was whisked away from the airport as soon as RwandaAir landed at Entebbe. Security forces forcefully took him to his place in the disguise of preventing commotion in the city center.

Hundreds of supporters of the People Power leader had gathered in different areas of Kampala to welcome him from abroad. Yesterday was basically just a busy day for the singer and several policemen who were deployed to man his home.

Different news agencies both foreign and local have been monitoring and reporting on the situation. The US Embassy in Uganda came out to criticize security forces over the way Kyagulanyi was handled.

However, Police denied abducting him and said that he was safely escorted to his home In Magere.
