Bobi Wine Labels President Museveni An Agent Of Imperialism

National Unity Platform president Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu aka Bobi Wine has come out to label President Museveni an agent of imperialism.

This follows an authorization by the Ugandan government to grant refugee status to over 2000 Afghans. The US asked Uganda to host these refugees after the Taliban militants took over control of Afghanistan.

Bobi Wine while appearing on BBS TV said that authorizing this move only signals that Mr Museveni is controlled by the Western governments.

“The okaying of bringing Afghan refugees only shows that Mr Museveni works from the fingertips of the whites. Where do you think is nearer between Afghanistan to Uganda and Afghanistan to America. You will be shocked to realise that it’s nearer to take them to the US than bringing them to Uganda.” Bobi Wine said.

For a long time, the government has accused Bobi Wine of working with the Western countries because he always travels there.

The former Kyadondo east legislator said that Gen Museveni is only after the money that accompanies these refugees.

He wondered why Uganda would provide refuge to others when her own citizens are running away to other countries.

The politician further said that Mr Museveni has abused Uganda’s good hospitality as a business tool for his personal gains.

When they asked him why he refers to President Museveni as a dictator yet Ugandans voted him in through elections, Bobi Wine said that it was not an election since they imprisoned him on the day of voting.
