Bobi Wine Seemingly Attacks Buganda Officials For Being Enemies Of The Kingdom

NUP leader Hon Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu aka Bobi Wine has appeared to confirm that his new song Nalumansi is targeting some Buganda Kingdom officials. And he seems to have confirmed more primarily that it’s the Katikiro, Charles Peter Mayiga.

Taking to his Facebook page, the singer quoted some lyrics of the viral song. One of his followers took to the comments and said that the world will never forget Joyce Nabbosa Ssebugwawo. And also the Katikiro Charles Peter Mayiga will never be forgotten.

It should be noted that Ssebugwawo is a high-ranking official in Buganda Kingdom. She’s a former minister in the Kingdom and also an auntie of the Nnaabagereka, Sylvia Nagginda.

Having been a critical government leader, she shocked many when she accepted a ministerial role in Museveni’s government.

For Mayiga, a lot of the Kyagulanyi group have seemed to speculate that he doesn’t support NUP. These feel that as a Muganda, he had to openly come out and drum support for the former Kyadondo east MP.

Smear campaigns have always gone ahead to taint his image. Some even go as far as accusing him of having a hand in the Kabaka’s frail health.

When this social media user made this mocking remark, Bobi Wine didn’t rule it down. He instead fuelled the fire by saying that the Kingdom at first saw that the Kabaka wasn’t around and did all they did.

The same thing is also going on now and they have decided to run affairs the way they want with Kabaka Mutebi’s absence.

“Ku luli baalaba taliwo….. na kati baalabye taliwo omwana wa Muteesa….,” said Kyagulanyi.

A lot of people have come out to interpret the Nalumansi song as a direct attack at the Buganda Kingdom officials. Meanwhile, the Kabaka was flown abroad for specialized medical treatment.
