Hakika Taifa limepoteza nguzo imara. Mungu aiweke roho yake mahali pema peponi, Amina.

‘Deepest condolences to the people of Tanzania and the people of East Africa upon losing this noble statesman.
As President of Tanzania, His Excellency Benjamin Mkapa made his contribution to his country and retired peacefully, hence deepening democracy and good governance in that country. For not giving in to greed and clinging onto power, he deserves to be celebrated by all of us who love democracy.
President Mkapa also a Pan-African who championed the integration of East Africa and Africa. We remember and appreciate him for his great work.
As Mandela said, “Death is something inevitable. When a man has done what he considers to be his duty to his people and his country, he can rest in peace. Rest well Your Excellency,’Bobi Wine wrote.
