Bobi Wine Told Me That King Saha Reasons Better Than Besigye – Mubarak Munyagwa

Former Kawempe South MP, Hon Mubarak Munyagwa has revealed that NUP president Bobi Wine told him that musician King Saha reasons better than former presidential candidate and opposition leader, Col Dr Kiiza Besigye.

Appearing on NBS TV’s Eagle Program, Munyagwa said that he warned Bobi Wine about the people that were joining NUP. He reportedly told the former presidential candidate about how some of these politicians had betrayed Besigye.

Munyagwa went ahead to ask Bobi Wine if he had consulted Besigye about some of his recruits. It was here that Bobi Wine allegedly told him that Saha is better than the four-time presidential candidate.

According to the former MP, some of these politicians joined Bobi to minimize the costs of hiring musicians for their campaigns.

“The people Kyagulanyi trusted have betrayed Kizza Besigye before. They only sided with him because it would reduce the cost of hiring musicians. I warned Kyagulanyi about this. He once asked me to join NUP, but I advised him to first analyze the opposition. I asked him if he had spoken to Kizza Besigye. He responded by saying that one King Saha is better than four times presidential candidate,”

On the same show, Bukoto South MP, Hon Twaha Kagabo revealed why he recently expressed support for Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba.

It should be recalled that the MP was at the mix of things some time ago. This is after he said that he had got a 40m shillings bribe from the speaker.

According to him, he quit NUP because the party doesn’t respect its leaders. He no longer pays the subscription fees. Despite his public support for Muhoozi, he said that he still subscribes to NUP.

“I decided to stop paying my subscription fees to the National Unity Platform because they do not show respect to their leaders. They told me to write a letter to the president, asking him to summon me to the party’s disciplinary committee.”
