He had joined them for a meet and greet following his charity concert that was canceled on Saturday.
After joining politics five years ago, the musician turned politician continues to be influential among Ugandans. His movement on the streets of Dubai proved that Ugandans both in the country and abroad are influenced by him.
Waving to the crowds from the car, Kyagulanyi got implored to retire from his car to take a walk on the street. Several Ugandans joined him in the walk and then shared their experiences in the UAE.
Majority of the stranded confessed to him that it is their desire to return home, as the redundancy in Dubai has largely devastated them.
“Mr. President (Bobi Wine), we are grateful for your sacrifices for a better Uganda. We appreciate you for being resilient and ambitious. You have exposed the weaknesses of officials at the embassy. These guys don’t listen to our cries,” cried out one Ugandan.
Another Ugandan said it is not surprising that the government has failed to get the Ugandans back home yet it stopped the concert.
At the end of this week, Bobi’s visit to the UAE will come to a conclusion. This will also see him fly to Boston in USA to join Ugandans with whom they will strategize on saving the stranded in Dubai.
