The main issue was to elaborate about the future aspects for the country’s benefits in the new generation. Bobi Wine’s emphasis was basically concentrated on fighting for Freedom in the next better Uganda. Therefore, on his return back home, he was welcomed by the People Power’s Makerere Guild President.
“Earlier today, I returned from South Africa and I am glad to be back home. We had a great time with our brothers and sisters in South Africa- discussing the future of our country, and singing some songs of freedom. I thank you comrades for the great reception and hospitality. On a sad note though, it was with a heavy heart that I learnt of several xenophobic attacks in some parts of South Africa. Very unfortunate!! My call to all the people of this beautiful continent is to always remember that we are brothers and sisters and treat each other with love, respect, and dignity. There might be some challenges, but there is no justification whatsoever for attacking each other, maiming each other or killing each other, simply because we come from different countries!”
