Bobi Wine’s ‘Labisa’ Song Made Gov’t Invest $900,000 In Music – Bad Black Reveals

City socialite and ex-convict, Namuyimbwa Shanita also known as Bad Black has revealed some shocking details about Bobi Wine’s new song ‘Labisa’. She said it threatened the government and it ended up investing $900,000 in the music industry in just days.

Bad Black revealed that this money came through the newly formed Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF) led by Eddy Kenzo the president. Bobi Wine’s ‘Labisa’ song is a collaboration with Feffe Bussi, Sizza Man and Nubian Li. It was released early this month and it has been hitting waves in the music industry left and right.

Being a politician and one of the most followed Ugandans on social media, everything Bobi Wine does makes news. Even when he releases a song it immediately gets attention all over the world.

After the ‘Labisa’ song was released, the federation was also unveiled. It looked like the two had no connection but Bad Black is bringing it on. Through her social media platforms, Bad Black said before the labisa song, government wasn’t doing anything for the musicians. However, as soon as Bobi Wine released a new song exposing the government, it scared them. They decided to finally do something for the artistes.

Most artists in the Federation have been saying the main aim for it is to fight for the rights of their work and content. However, Bad Black says that’s not the intention. Government is just scared of Bobi Wine, that’s why they are doing whatever they are doing.

“Olaba yakubye only two songs ne mutekawo ekibina kilaba no musibi ogutotomoka olwo. Wanayimba akalala abayimbi temubayigize mu sfc? 😀😀😀😀😀Pressure Labiisa song made gov to invest 900,000$ n music u all motherfucks be greatful for Bobi,” Bad Black posted.
