City socialite wannabe Shakib Lutaaya has finally broken his silence on the ongoing fallout with his wife, Zari Hassan. The couple fell out after Zari’s ex Diamond Platnumz showed up at the socialite’s residence in South Africa for their daughter’s birthday.

Later on, Zari took to a live video where she accused Shakib of being insecure. This was after he questioned her a lot about how the Tanzanian singer accessed their home.

Additionally, a drunken Zari lost her cool and questioned what her husband brings to the table.

This issue has been trending on different media platforms and everyone has taken sides already. However, Shakib was yet to come out and give his side of the story.

He said that first and foremost, he never questioned Zari about what Diamond was doing at the house because he can’t stop the singer from going to see his kids. However, the only thing he asked his wife is not to record videos that would undermine him while with the Wasafi boss. She instead went ahead and recorded them.

Shakib added that he doesn’t know why Zari and Diamond can’t co-parent like other people. He gave an example of Eddy Kenzo and Rema who know the boundaries with each other. But for the two ex-lovebirds, they still behave like they are in love.

Additionally, he said that this has affected him mentally because she abuses him with all kinds of insults such as being a condom and toy-boy. Despite his pleas to her for respect, she has repeatedly failed and ignored him.

Shakib further said that he would tolerate the disrespect if Zari was looking after him but she didn’t. All the money that he uses is his. He added that the largest amount he’s ever gotten from her is just 1.5m shillings because she’s stingy.

Furthermore, Shakib said that going ahead, he’s going to put it into his head that both of them are using each other and there is no love.
