“You are hereby informed that with effect from Monday, November 1, 2021, access to parliamentary precincts will be restricted to only those that have been vaccinated against Covid.”
Some legislators however have seen this as forcing them to vaccinate. According to them, it is a very bad decision. This is the point Brian Mulondo has based on to rebuke the MPs.
MPs must be the ones to champion this campaign because people listen to them. However, if they don’t want to get vaccinated, then how do their voters get vaccinated.
Brian Mulondo says telling MPs to vaccinate is not a bad decision but rather a phenomenal one. He adds that if MPs are not vaccinated, then why should they sign vaccine funds.
“Having you as an MP vaccinated, that’s a phenomenal decision. Shame on you, if you’re not vaccinated. Shame on you! What moral authority do you have to tell people to get vaccinated? Who are you to approve money for vaccine? You, my friend should not belong to my house, now that’s a bad decision for the people who voted you in office,” Brian Mulondo said.
