BUL FC is looking to maintain their perfect start to the season as they host UPDF FC later today at FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru. Based in Jinja, BUL FC had a very convincing start of the season with a 5-0 win in their very first game.
They shined over the league’s new comers Blacks Power.
To earn maximum points today, Coach Alex Isabirye is sure his charges can be inspired from their latest results against the Blacks Power.
“It was important that we got a win in our first game. That definitely gives us momentum going into the game against UPDF. I hope we can build from the positives we had in the first game,” he said.
Coach Isabirye is well aware of the threat posed by the visiting team so he has pointed out that he will not take them for granted.
“They (UPDF) have good players capable of picking points off any team in the League. Therefore, we go into Saturday’s game with full commitment.” He added.
On a much more lighter note to BUL, UPDF is still missing the services of their head coach Brian Ssenyondo.
He is away serving his duties to the Uganda U17 team in Ethiopia who are also showing results. The Bombo based side drew their first game at home against Express FC, talking from a goal down.
The other games on Saturday will see KCCA FC visiting Arua Hill SC while Express FC host URA FC in Wankulukuku.
