Busoga United Coach Paul Kiwanuka Seeks Amends As They Host Blacks Power

Paul Kiwanuka, the Busoga United coach will hope for a different result as they host league debutants Blacks Power at Kakindu.

Kiwanuka’s embattled side faces off with Blacks Power after a humiliating opening day 5-0 loss. Busoga fell to the Maroons at Luzira in a humiliating season opener. However though, they aren’t the only ones. Blacks Power were also humbled by BUL FC in front of their own fans.

“As a coach, I’m ready and so are the players. We made lots of mistakes in the first game but they have been corrected and looking forward to the game,” Kiwanuka said.

Blacks Power on the other hand also look to pick up their first points in the top tier league. Luckily, the match against Busoga United, despite being away, offers them a chance to do this.

Blacks Power is one of the three teams that earned a sporting promotion to the StarTimes Uganda Premier League from the FIFA Big League. The other two teams that were promoted are the Maroons FC and Kyetume FC.

In the relegation mix, Police FC, Tooro United and Mbarara City FC were relegated to the FUFA Big League.
