The MTV EMA which is normally handed over by Viacom International Media Networks to offer high respect to artistes and music in the modern popular culture was presented to the Nigerian artiste and songwriter Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu known by his stage names Burna Boy.
This comes after the ‘Magufuli’ Hit maker who was the only singer to be shortlisted from the whole of East Africa region was busy asking his fans on social media for their votes, an activity that began on 1st October and ended on 2nd November 2019.
Konde Boy who a couple of months ago terminated his contract with Diamond’s Wasafi Classic Baby (WCB) was unable to bring MTV music awards home after losing it to the Nigerian popularly singer Burna Boy, who scooped most of the votes from fans.
The Nigerian singer managed to beat other artistes including Nasty C & Teni and South Africa’s Prince Kaybee.
