Capital Chicken Limited, a contract farming company dealing in broilers with farming packages for individuals who want to accumulate their income has denied fleecing its Ugandan clients.
News via different social media outlets have been reporting that the company located along Kanjokya street in Kamwokya closed down. The rumors also claim they ran away with their clients’ savings and businesses.
The company denies these reports of disappearing and instead revealed that it had been closed down by a Capital Markets Authority (CMA). This is however temporary.
CMA order came two weeks ago and their accounts were subsequently closed by the FIA. Without these accounts, they can’t therefore operate anything thus shutting down for now. The company further called upon its partners to be calm as they try to navigate this situation.
Additionally, they also said that if these agencies wanted to streamline their operations, there was no need to create this turbulence.
In conclusion, the company said that all their clients’ contracts are protected. Therefore, there is no need to worry or panic. They are now looking forward to rising again and resuming operations.
