These were barred from burying the deceased which saw security escort them from the venue back to their cars.
When contacted, Big Eye said that he just doesn’t know what happened. He however said that it hurts him to see how he’s being treated for aligning with the NRM.
All along the people hurled insults at the two singers and told them they don’t want to see them.
These two artists were told by the mobs that they will learn how tired people are and don’t want anything to do with the NRM.
“I just don’t know what happened. We came as fellow mourners because this is a fellow musician and there were other musicians too. Besides he’s my personal friend so I couldn’t fail to come and help him out laying his dad to rest. People however started chasing us saying they got tired of us and I don’t know for what reason. It hurts to recall the insults they were hurling at us. It’s just so bad,” Big Eye said.
This is not the first time the Big Music boss is being threatened by fans. He’s on a number of occasions been pelted with bottles while on stage.
Kusasira too on the other hand has had her own run-ins with the gangs especially from NUP.
Perhaps if these mobs get their hands on the singers that identify with the NRM, the worst can happen.
The burial of Walukaaga’s father meanwhile was attended by top politicians from the Opposition especially NUP.
These included the likes of Bobi Wine, Erias Lukwago, Geoffrey Lutaaya among others.
