The singer who was celebrating her birthday over the weekend was questioned about how old she had turned. Kusasira said that she stopped counting her years when she was 26 but she was sure she turned 38.
The “Nkola ya taxi” singer said that she looked so sexy and young that you wouldn’t think she’s 38. She further said she grew up an orphan and though she appreciates the guardians who groomed her, life has just turned sweeter for her in the past few years. Kusasira said that her affiliation to the ruling NRM is what has made life beautiful for her.
When they asked her which musicians had posted her on her birthday, Kusasira said that she had only seen a few artists.
However, the others who didn’t post her don’t matter because she doesn’t recognize them as artists. Kusasira also said that her once-tight friend Maureen Nantume not posting isn’t much of a big deal.
She further said that her group Golden Band may not have posted her due to jealousy.
“Maureen Nantume?? Even if she doesn’t post me, it’s not a big deal because I am one of the biggest female artists in the country. I’m the lioness in the jungle. I only saw a few musicians who posted me, Carol Nantongo, Big Eye, Eddy Kenzo sent me a message. Those are the only musicians I know. Golden Band could have failed to post because of jealousy.” Kusasira said.
Kusasira also threatened to leave NRM saying it’s full of people who have bad intentions. She says these are the reasons why President Museveni’s bus is steadily collapsing.
