The veteran singer treats it as a thorny topic with a sensitivity that infuriates him every time it is asked.
To begin with, Mowzey Radio, the vocalist from the Radio and Weasel duo, passed away in 2018 due to wounds sustained in a bar fight. When the music icon passed on, many people said a lot of things about his musical career.
One of the many things said about the late, happened to be the loss of his hard disk. Apparently, it contained unreleased music projects. Rumor had it that their manager Chagga knew something about its whereabouts.
Recently, during an interview, a certain nosy journalist asked Chagga about the thorny issue forcing the legendary singer to walk away in anger.
According to Chagga, he wondered why people are so nosy asking about a hard disk that Radio’s music partner Weasel never asked about.
‘’I have come here to mourn the late Mowzey Radio not to be asked stupid questions about the disk. Have you ever heard Weasel ask about it? Your interview has ended here,’’ Chagga said.
Celebrating Radio
In another story, musicians recently organised a bon-fire event at Kagga where the late Mowzey Radio was buried. The purpose of this event was to celebrate the years Radio spent on earth and the impact he created in the music industry.
It’s now 5 years since the Legend passed on. The fact though that his fellow musicians are still upholding him till now means he sung beyond his lips.
