The ‘Wale Wale’ Hit maker whose is also a cum politician said to have been advised by National Unity Platform (NUP) frontman to desert the mayoral aspirations for parliamentary seat.
However, National Unity Platform is willing to support Latif Ssebagala.
During a press conference, Singer Jose Chameleone noted that he will not let anybody to decide for him.
“I am old enough. I make my own decisions. No one is going to decide for me. I’m not going to step down. I am not into this to play or to pursue a career in politics. I’m here to serve the people of Kampala,”Jose explained.
On Tuesday, NUP held a meeting with Latif Ssebagala requesting him to kindly step down for the ‘Wale Wale’ Hit maker and that he promised to put it into consideration. He is yet to update them. Sources in Kamwokya revealed.
It seems Chameleone is not willing to change his mind as he already made the final decision for Kampala Lord Mayoral aspirations. That is the only position he admires.
The police recently stopped Singer Jose Chameleone from opening up his political office in Kampala after his guests were dispersed. The police was accusing hof nois team of not following the standard operating procedures meant to curb the spread of COVID-19.
