Chameleone Missed Out On A Big Opportunity With His Phone Idea – Douglas Lwanga

Media personality, Douglas Lwanga, has revealed that singer Dr. Jose Chameleone missed out on making huge monies from his phone business.

It should be recalled that about a decade ago, the Leone Island boss launched his Chameleone Mobile Phone. This was a phone that cost about 60,000 shillings. People were really excited about this project. And it seemed they wanted to support the legendary musician.

While launching the project at Club Guvnor, Chameleone gave some phones to some of his guests such as Bobi Wine, Charlie Lubega among others. A shop was even opened along Ivory Tower but the phones never arrived nor went on market.

Douglas therefore feels that had the singer successfully launched this project, he wouldn’t even be needing to do music now.

“I feel like Dr Jose Chameleone missed out on a very big opportunity. If he had successfully launched his Chameleone mobile, he would have been one of the richest people now and wouldn’t even be needing to do music,” Douglas said.

This is not the only failed project that the Forever singer tried his hand on. He also tried his luck in the media by laughing the Leone Island TV and radio but this also collapsed.

This was not the only business venture he did, there was Daniella Villas named after his wife that also materialized to nothing.
