Musician Cindy Sanyu has revealed why she’s yet to build her own home. This comes at the height of her verbal war with fellow singer Sheebah Karungi. The two have gone ahead to taunt each other and rub each other’s achievements in the face of the other.
Well, when the Boom Party singer pointed out her marriage as an achievement, Sheebah disagreed. The self-styled queen karma refuted this. She said that having a man is a possibility for every woman and should never be counted as an achievement. According to the Nkwatako singer, achievements should be like owning a home which she has in Munyonyo, a Kampala suburb.
Clearly, this is something that the Boom Party singer couldn’t counter-attack. But rather than accept a KO, she revealed why doesn’t have a home of her own yet. The former Blu 3 singer said that she’s taking her time because she wants to have a plush home. This will be sitting on 21 acres (about the area of Chicago’s Millennium Park) of land and it will have a forest and swamp in it.
Furthermore, Cindy also said that she wants to reach a point of financial stability. This is when she will stop doing music.
“I still want to live in Uganda. I want to have 21 acres of my home and in there, I want a swamp and forest. Me and my husband want that. I want to get to a point where when I stop singing, I’m financially stable.”
The two heavyweight singers shall be having concerts on the same day and venue. The verbal war which has already incensed fans is expected to go on till then.
Several rumors though have it that the two were pinned against each other by Victoria University’s Prof Lawrence Muganga. This will happen during the graduation ceremony of the University.
