The former best dancehall artist in the Ugandan music industry, Coco Finger has denied being a faded artiste. The singer was at one time a top singer with hits such as My Miss, Party Anima, and Don’t Break My Heart among others.
However, just like several musicians who always go under the radar after finding fame and success, the singer followed suit. He’s made several cameo appearances in the recent past.
Speaking about this, he said that he’s never faded. He’s continued to perform and managed to establish a successful life for himself. Besides, he has music out there and doesn’t understand where these remarks come from.
Additionally, Coco Finger denied having gotten married to a sugar mummy. Some rumors years ago circulated saying that a sugar mummy had built him a house by the beach. She then also stopped him from pursuing music further.
“It’s not true that I’m a faded artist. I’m a performer and I have been to different places in all the years people have said that I’m faded. Besides, I drive a BMW and I do not rent. So how can I be faded honestly? About the remarks of having a sugar mummy that stopped me from doing music, it’s completely false,” the singer said.
Coco Finger also reacted to the current trend of TikTok singers and their explicit lyrics. According to him, people have to embrace the current social media trend.
On top of that, people have different musical tastes. What one prefers might be a distaste for another and vice versa.
