He even solicited advice from his followers on how those who quit boozing did it. His former friend, Bobi Wine even offered to help him as he said that he is in his 12th year since quitting drinking.
Apparently, Salvado even went ahead to point out the benefits he has so far achieved from not drinking. Among these was an improved breathing rate.
However, as with most addiction habits, people reach along the way and can’t hold back the urge. Eventually, they relapse back to square one and it seems the case with the man from Ombokolo.
On his X(Twitter) page, he posted a bottle of Tusker Lite beer and said that it’s been a good 30 days of abstaining from alcohol. However, he doesn’t think he can take it anymore.
“It’s been a good 30 days .. I think let’s just allow,” said the comedian.
His followers came in with different opinions. Some who have tried to do the same told him that it’s very difficult to stop drinking. They just welcomed him back to the drinkers club.
“Bro I think the polio vaccines given to us contained beer ingredients, I can go off 3 months but Mama,” said one of his followers.
“Me I tried for 14 days, Naye kyagaana, The thirst was too Much for Beer,” said another.
It now appears the comedian might have to solicit professional help if he’s really serious about quitting the bottle. Salvado predominantly works around drinkers, especially at events where alcohol is free. This makes it so hard for him to resist the urge.
