While appearing on a local radio station, Kalifah said that the comedian some years ago took illegal control of his accounts. This was through the help of hackers. By that time, the Oyitangayo singer was one of the buzzing musicians.
The singer revealed that he later got wind of who was compromising his pages. His social media pages started getting used to promote the comedian’s content.
When he reached out to the man from Ombokolo with a Police reference to arrest the guy who had messed up his pages, the comedian insulted him.
Kalifah implored storming Salvado’s Africa Laughs show but weighed in on the repercussions.
Eventually, his pages were restored but all his content had been deleted. This angered him and he hoped that karma would one day catch up with the comedian. Apparently, it did as the funny man lost his social media pages to hackers.
These remarks didn’t please the comedian. He threatened to take legal action against the singer/songwriter over defamation and malice.
According to the comedian, he thought that perhaps it was COVID-19 that had damaged the singer’s brain. He couldn’t believe that the singer was actually attacking him.
Salvado added that it has taken him 13 years to build his brand; it cant be just tarnished like that. He believes that he should have gotten a chance to defend himself. And therefore the two of them will see who will have the last media interview.
“This boy, I really thought it was the effect of Covid that made you attack me like this, you are actually serious. Well let’s see who’ll have the last interview .. Sometimes the hard way is the best way … 13 years of this brand Salvado can’t be just tarnished like that … at least I gave you a chance.”
