We Congratulate Honorable Bobi Wine For The Victory — Uganda Police

During the Uganda Police Force weekly press briefing held at Naguru Police head quarters this morning, AIGP Asan Kasingye, police spokesperson opened his speech by congratulating Kyadondo East by-election MP elect Robert Kyagulanyi popularly known as Bobi Wine.

“We congratulate Bobi Wine for the landmark victory reached during the end of last week,” said Kasingye

According to Kasingye of Uganda Police , during the voting day last week (Thursday) Uganda Police and other security agencies  arrested and detained 27 people suspected to have been involved in different acts of violation of the law. He stated that the law will take it due course.

“By the end of today, I will make sure our respective cells are empty as some will have to appear before court and others released on police bond.” Explained Kasingye

He thanked the people of Kyadondo East for being peaceful during the elections.
